The men were probably surprised to find the evidence!

Despite her crime, police officers were caught taking photos with her and treating her more like a celebrity rather than a criminal.

She and two of her fellow accomplices were even allowed to do their makeup in the police station instead of being locked up.

Priyanuch Nonwangchai later tried to admit to being the lone killer during the trial and attempted to plead to manslaughter.

Due to all the evidence that was given four of the girls were still facing the murder charges.

In March, Priyanuch Nonwangchai and two of the women also were held in contempt of court due to their use of social media while in court.

This meant the girls would face an additional six months and a fine of 500 baht for their indiscretion.

On May 10, 2018, all five women received their final judgments. Instead of facing life imprisonment or the death penalty, Priyanuch Nonwangchai and one of the accomplices were sentenced to 34 years and 6 months for providing useful information.

The woman who was charged with stolen goods was sentenced to 1 year in prison. A second accomplice was sentenced to 23 years, 4 months, and 22 days. The third accomplice was given 33 years and 9 months. The girls will also need to pay 1,070,00 baht at 7.5% interest to the victim’s family.
