He’s been presenting almost weekly for over a year since he began last July 2020. Unsurprisingly, his personality has changed as a result of the job. Soobin revealed exactly what he thought about this change in a past interview with Weverse Magazine.

First up, he acknowledged how shy he was in the past prior to conducting weekly interviews with different K-Pop groups, introducing new music, announcing the winners, and more.

I’m sure Music Bank’s had a huge impact on me. Before, I would feel more nervous to do interviews than performances.

The groups that attended the music show gave him strength and confidence. Because they enjoyed their time on the program, he felt more relaxed.

I heard lots of interviewees say the atmosphere at Music Bank is really good and that the hosts are cute and fun to joke around with so the interviews are fun and easy-going.

Moreover, he was proud of his job well done. Rather than it being a source of stress, Music Bank made Soobin “so happy.”

I was proud to think I’m the kind of host who puts singers at ease and makes them feel good. I was so happy. And I’m not as nervous doing live shows as I used to be.
