Jungkook connected with ARMYs live from his kitchen, where he set the record straight about BTS’s upcoming promotions, clarified that he’s not hoarding mattresses, sang karaoke for the fans that tuned in, and even casually washed his dishes.

Since the announcement of their anthology album, PROOF, fans have been looking forward to seeing how BTS pays homage to their past songs and concepts. Some fans have been hoping for the return of “rapper Jungkook.” Jungkook granted that wish and another major wish that fans had during his live broadcast.

During part of the broadcast, the group’s playful maknae took karaoke requests. For some of the songs, he brought back “rapper Jungkook,” such as when he performed his part in BTS’s adaptation of “Young, Wild & Free,” by Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa. The song featured Jimin, J-Hope, and Jungkook and it was adapted to fit the theme of graduation.

Since the release of their new song “Run BTS,” fans have been wishing for the group to perform it live. While the group has yet to perform it as seven, V sang the song in a recent live broadcast, and Jungkook hopped on the bandwagon by performing the song during his broadcast. Fans were thrilled when he again channeled “rapper Jungkook” to cover Suga and RM‘s lines in the song.

Jungkook even covered “That That” by PSY (feat. and prod. by Suga). Suga previously shared that after “That That” was released, he couldn’t escape Jungkook rapping and dancing to the song.

While fans may have been hoping for “rapper Jungkook” to return in one of BTS’s newly released songs, they were still able to get a throwback to his rapper era through the live.
