I.O.I recently had their last official concert as a group, but it was reported that they had also filmed one last commercial together afterwards.
Their concert on January 22 marked the official end of I.O.I as a group; however, sources revealed they were recently seen shooting one last commercial together. After the commercial is released, fans will likely not be seeing anything from I.O.I as a group until their promised reunion in five years.
With fans have the group heartbroken over the I.O.I’s disbandment, many are now curious as to what the members will be doing individually. Each of the members have already revealed their plans for the future.
Choi Yoojung and Kim Doyeon were revealed to have officially signed with Fantagio to make their official debut under the label. Choi Yoojung had been receiving the spotlight with her witty comments and exceptional skill in hosting shows such as Mnet‘s Golden Tambourine, so fans can expect to see her in more variety shows.
Lim Nayoung and Zhou Jieqiong will be debuting with a new group PRISTIN sometime late February or early March, under the agency Pledis Entertainment.
Kim Chungha has already appeared by herself in Pentagon‘s music video for “Pretty Pretty“, and is currently waiting on an upcoming solo debut sometime in the later half of this year. She is also currently serving as an MC on EBS‘s Ah! Sunday – A Running Miracle.
As for Kim Sohye, her path is a little different in comparison to the other members, as she will be focusing more on acting and hosting television programs rather than performing as an artist. With her excellent English speaking abilities, she was also cast as an MC on a show that teaches TOEIC on EBS.
Kang Mina and Kim Sejeong will continuing their activities with Jellyfish Entertainment girl group Gugudan, while Jeong Chaeyeon will continue with MBK Entertainment‘s DIA, and Yoo Yeonjung with Starship Entertainment group Cosmic Girls.
