Actor Ji Chang Wook recently spoke in his first interview since his military discharge on SBS’s Access Showbiz Tonight, which naturally drew a lot of attention among fans.
Ji Chang Wook talked about the military and shared, “I learned a lot in the last year and 8 months. It was a meaningful experience.” But when he was asked if he would do it again, he replied, “Maybe not” and stirred up a good laugh.
He then made the shocking confession that he gained 25 pounds while serving in the military.
He explained why he gained so much by adding, “The reason why I gained 25 pounds was that I ate a lot of ramen and instant foods at the time.”
Ji Chang Wook added some comical relief by expressing his confidence in acting for instant food commercials and even showed off a convincing gaze.
In addition, Ji Chang Wook made an additional confession about how he felt about his career while serving in the military. He shared, “I was jealous of all the actors. When I saw my friends and juniors act, I worried if I would be able to act just as well once I got out.“
