Joy’s Second Drama, “Great Temptation” Is Officially The Worst Rated Drama In MBC History

But not the lowest rating ever.

The latest episodes of MBC‘s Great Temptation haven’t quite met expectations. In fact, they’ve just received the lowest rating in MBC’s history!

The show is loosely based off of a French novel and stars Woo Do Hwan, Red Velvet‘s Joy, Moon Ga Young, and Kim Min Jae. It tells the story of chaebol heirs in their 20s playing the dangerous game of love.

But according to Nielson Korea, the dangerous game of love just isn’t pulling in the views.

The show’s 17th and 18th episodes only received 1.8% and 1.6% viewer ratings respectively.

That’s a pretty big decrease from the previous two episodes which received 1.9% and 2.1% ratings. And the previous low record for MBC was 1.8% for 20th Century Boy and Girl.

Another blow to the drama may be the viewer ratings for rival drama The Miracle We Met.

The show topped the rating list with a staggering 11.2% rating!

But Great Temptation is still ahead of one drama. Among the three main channels in South Korea, KBS2‘s Manhole received the dubious honor of having the lowest rating in the country’s history with a 1.4% viewership rating.
