Ji Chang Wook shares that when he was a child, he used to believe in many different things as well… But unfortunately, that belief faded a lot as he got older.

Still, Ji Chang Wook tells the children that he hopes their beliefs last through adulthood because he believes that beliefs and childhood innocence in general will “really help you later on when you are worn out and tired.”

Ji Chang Wook also adds that while he thinks “it’s easy being an adult,” he believes it’s much harder to “[find] that childlike innocence again when you become an adult.”

And when one child shares that the belief she always wants to hold onto is “living happily ever after with [her] family…”

Ji Chang Wook can’t help but assure her that her “hope won’t shatter.”

He hopes that all the children will remember their childlike innocence even as they grow up.
