Younha to leave “Starry Night Radio” and prepare for new album

After being the DJ for MBC Starry Night Radio, singer Younha will be leaving her place as host after three years and five months to focus on her upcoming new album.

According to her agency Wealive on October 29th, Younha’s last radio show broadcast will be on November 2nd.

Through her agency, Younha released a statement saying, “Up until now, I met a lot of people through Starry Night, I have spent my once in a lifetime moments communicating with listeners. As a radio listener myself, I will prioritize my time in preparing for my album for all of my listeners to repay them with a precious album. I will be back with an album full of good songs and as singer Younha.”

Younha first began her DJ duties on Starry Night Radio on May 2011, faithfully appearing on air for the last three years and five months.

The solo singer will be preparing a new album with her extra free time, and will also be holding a year-end concert at Ehwa Women University on December 27th and 28th.
