It’s only been a little over a week since TXT made their official debut but they’ve already proven themselves to be monster rookies! They broke several records in their first 24 hours and have continued to impress ever since. Now they’ve officially become the fastest K-Pop group to reach the Billboard 200.
On March 11, Billboard announced that TXT had debuted on top on several of their charts including Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart. This chart ranks the most popular developing artists in the US!
On top of that, with their debut mini-album “The Dream Chapter: STAR” TXT snagged a spot on the World Albums chart. Several of their songs from the mini-album charted on the World Digital Song Sales chart including their title track “CROWN”.
But perhaps most impressive of all is their Billboard 200 position. TXT snagged number 140 on the chart with their mini-album! They hit this rank a single week after their debut which means that TXT’s album became the highest charting debut album by any male K-Pop group in history! Plus, this accomplishment also means TXT now has the record for the fastest K-Pop group to chart on the Billboard 200!
