“Tale Of The Nine-Tailed” To Proceed With Season 2 and 3 Without Jo Bo Ah As The Female Lead

Who will replace her?

Tale Of The Nine-Tailed made a splash with its first season in 2020 October, starring Lee Dong Wook, Kim Bum and Jo Bo Ah. The show was recently confirmed for a second and third season, but it was reported that its female lead, Jo Bo Ah, will not be reprising her role as the lovable Nam Ji Ah.

Unfortunately, it seems like fans won’t be able to see Jo Bo Ah and Lee Dong Wook relive their chemistry, despite Season 1 wrapping with them as a couple. It was reported that it was finalized that Jo Bo Ah would not be returning and the production team is currently looking for a new female lead.

Tale Of The Nine-Tailed will return for a third season as well, where they will crossover into sageuk territory, returning back to the Joseon era. Both Seasons 2 and 3 will have 10 episodes each. Lee Dong Wook and Kim Bum will be reuniting with director Lee Sang Hee for the show. Season 2 is set to air early next year.
