Stray Kids Absolutely Crushed Their Previous First-Week Sales Record With “IN生 (IN LIFE)”

Stray Kids almost doubled their record:

With every comeback, Stray Kids prove just how powerful a group they are and after returning with their first repackaged album IN生 (IN LIFE), the powerhouse group did so once again topping charts and setting a brand new first-week sales record.

Dropping IN生 IN LIFE on September 14, the album not only topped iTunes charts in 28 countries around the world in the first 24 hours but the title track “Back Door” took no. 140 on Spotify‘s Global Top 200 chart.

A week later and Stray Kids completely smashed their record for first-week album sales. According to Hanteo, IN生 (IN LIFE) sold 233,381 copies in the first week of release. This is almost double the first-week sales of their previous album GO生 (GO LIVE) which recorded 127,930 copies!

In addition to completely obliterating their previous record, Stray Kids has also been crushing it on the weekly charts. For the week of September 14 through September 20, IN生 (IN LIFE) snagged no. 1 on Hanteo’s Weekly Album Chart, and for the period of September 13 through September 19, the album topped Gaon‘s Retail Album Chart.
