Seo Ye Ji’s K-Drama Comeback, “Eve’s Scandal” Kicks Off Filming

This will be her first public appearance since April.

Seo Ye Ji will soon be making her comeback to the screen with Eve’s Scandal. She had previously taken a break from the industry with her controversy regarding ex-boyfriend, Kim Jung Hyun. According to various news reports, Seo Ye Ji had been accused of gaslighting her then-boyfriend into acting unprofessionally on set. The controversy had caused her to step away from upcoming K-Drama, Island, as well as not appear for several press conferences and awards ceremonies.

As of November 21, 2021, Seo Ye Ji has begun filming for her comeback piece of work, Eve’s Scandal. The confirmation of her appearance on the show had come in September, but the public questioned if she would proceed with it, given the scandal. It seems like fans’ worries can be put to rest as the show has cranked in officially.

Eve’s Scandal is a K-Drama about a conglomerate family’s ₩2.00 trillion KRW (about $1.68 billion USD) divorce lawsuit that will turn Korea upside down. Seo Ye Ji would play the role of Lee Ra El, a character born to a genius father and a beautiful mother, but transformed into “dangerous flower” with deadly charms due to her family’s unfortunate history. She is also at the center of the aforementioned ₩2.00 trillion KRW (about $1.68 billion USD) divorce lawsuit. She will be starring opposite rising actor Lee Sang Yeob, who has recently garnered much love for his variety show appearances.

Eve’s Scandal will air in the first half of 2022. All eyes will be on Seo Ye Ji as this is her first public appearance after the scandal that took place in April 2021.
