Rookie K-Pop Girl-Group TWICE Dominated Korea’s Music Charts In May With “Cheer Up”

Despite the fact that it’s just their sophomore release, TWICE‘s “Cheer Up” has quickly become one of the most popular songs of the year. 

In fact, the song is so popular that it was named the top song in the month of May, despite competing with songs from top artists including Akdong MusicianBTS, and SEVENTEEN. In addition to receiving a lot of love from fans in packed stadiums for performances, the JYP Entertainment group performed incredibly well in terms of both physical and digital sales, with “Cheer Up” breaking several records.
