KCON will be returning to New York for the fourth straight year and they’ve just announced the next 2 artists who will be joining Wanna One, EXID, Heize, Stray Kids, NCT 127, Super Junior, and fromis_9.
KCON 2018 New York will take place between June 23-24 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The final 2 artists announced to be attending are Red Velvet and PENTAGON.
Red Velvet will be making their 3rd KCON appearance, previously appearing at KCON 2015 LA and KCON 2017 Mexico.
PENTAGON will be making their 4th KCON appearance, previously appearing at KCON Japan in 2017 and 2018 as well as KCON 2017 Australia.
KCON is the largest K-Pop Festival in the world and has branched off since its inception to include several cities throughout the world. KCON was created by Koreaboo’s founders in 2012 after approaching CJ E&M and Mnet with the idea to create a festival and convention for international K-Pop fans. It has now expanded to cities such as Newark, USA; Chiba, Japan; Abu Dhabi, UAE; Mexico City, Mexico; Paris, France; and Sydney, Australia and sees 100,000+ attendees yearly.
