PSY is the first foreign artist to appear in 3 New Year specials in China

“Gangnam Style” and “Daddy” hitmaker PSY is reported to be the first foreign artist to appear on three New Year Programs in China. 

On January 29th, YG Entertainment confirmed that PSY managed to finish filming for Chinese New Year Specials for DragonTV, JSTV and LRTV, taking at least 2.9 billion audiences in total. The agency further stated that he will becomes the first foreign artist to appear on all three channels for the special event in the country.

The festivities will start on LRTV on February 6th where he will perform his latest single “Daddy,” along with his hit track, “Gangnam Style.” He will also appear alongside artists such as Lang Lang and Show Luo.

This will be followed by an appearance on JSTV where we he will perform “Gangnam Style” and “Napal Baji,” joining the impressive line-up compose of Aaron Kwok and Leon Lai. Meanwhile, he will be performing “Daddy” and “Dance Jockey” on Dragon TV. Both of the specials will air on February 8th.
