“Produce 101” Trainees To Drop Lawsuit Against Their Agency After Reaching Agreement

Two female trainees have dropped their lawsuit against their agency regarding their contract after having reached a mutual agreement.

Produce 101 trainees Lee Hae In and Lee Su Hyun from SS Entertainment made the headlines in early May after news that they had filed a lawsuit for the agency to terminate their exclusive contract, citing that it was too long and did not receive the necessary vocal and dance lessons as promised as well as the broken promise of debuting within the year.

The two girls’ representative and lawyer revealed on May 25th that the agency has agreed to terminate the girls’ contract without any additional conditions during a meeting just the day prior. He adds, “Lee Hae In and Lee Su Hyun would like to apologize to fans for worrying them.”

Lee Hae In and Lee Su Hyun were both eliminated in the 11th episode of Produce 101. SS Entertainment is also the home of boy group The Legend.
