Park Bo Gum and Song Joong Ki are known to be such close friends that they consider each other brothers. They also happen to be managed by the same agency, Blossom Entertainment.
Park Bo Gum’s drama, Encounter, recently came to an end. There, he portrayed the role of Jin Hyuk, who shares a beautiful love with Song Hye Kyo’s character, Soo Hyun.
Now that the drama is over, fans want to know: How did Song Joong Ki feel about his close friend romancing it up with his wife?
Park Bo Gum cutely answered that Song Joong Ki seemed too busy with his own project to really react towards their love line. Park Bo Gum even called Song Hye Kyo his sister-in-law, proving just how close the three are!
“It wasn’t a romantic relationship with my sister-in-law but one with Cha Soo Hyun.
I think [Song Joong Ki] is so busy with his own work, Asadal Chronicals, to give me any big feedback.”
— Park Bo Gum
He went on to compliment Song Hye Kyo for making it easy for him to get into character. He explained that she was so caring and understanding that he never felt their 12-year age difference between them.
“Song Hye Kyo took care of me well. She portrayed the identity of Cha Soo Hyun well, so it was easy for me to focus on Kim Jin Hyuk.
I didn’t feel the age difference with her. That’s how well we conversed together. We were able to immerse ourselves into Soo Hyun and Jin Hyuk, so we didn’t feel the age gap.”

On another note, Song Joong Ki is rumored to have a love-line with Kim Ji Won – a fellow cast from Descendants Of The Sun. It appears the tables will turn as fans grow curious about how Song Hye Kyo will react towards Song Joong Ki’s on-screen interest with their close friend!
