According to industry insiders, it’s been reported that Lee Yoo Mi was cast as the lead role in an upcoming film titled We Can’t Go To Heaven, But We Can Love. The film will follow different love and friendship stories, with Lee Yoo Mi playing the main character of a student named Yeji.

While the actress has been in the industry for over a decade, with impressive productions such as Welcome to Waikiki 2, Voice 2, Scent of GhostSquid Game under her belt, this will mark only one of her few lead roles she’s had since her debut.

The actress previously appeared as one of the main roles in Young Adults Matter alongside former EXID member Hani (Ahn Hee Yeon).
