7 New K-Pop Songs Debuted On The Billboard Digital Song Sales Chart

This is way more than average!

Each week, Billboard updates their World Digital Song Sales chart in order to list the top 25 best-performing international singles in the United States.

Because of K-Pop’s growing popularity in the country, the genre usually makes up a good portion of the list, and this week, 7 new K-Pop songs made their debut on the chart!

The highest-ranking new song on the chart is virtual K-Pop group K/DA‘s “Villain”, which comes in at #4 on its debut week. It’s one of five tracks off of their debut EP, ALL OUT.

And “Villain” wasn’t the only track from the album to make its debut on the chart this week! “Drum Go Dum” also placed on the list at #6, and “I’ll Show You”, which features TWICE, comes in at #10.

One other song on the EP, “More”, is also ranking this week at #5, and their debut single, “POP/STARS”, is also on the list at #24. They’ve spent 3 and 29 weeks on the chart respectively.

The next highest-ranking new song on the list this week is “MMM” by TREASURE, which comes in at #11! Like K/DA, they also have multiple songs on the chart, with “Orange” also placing at #22.

The last two new songs to chart this week are “Mago” by GFRIEND (placing at #17), and “Idea” by Taemin (placing at #20). Though these aren’t their highest-placing songs to ever make the chart — GFRIEND’s was “Navillera” at #12, and Taemin’s was “Press Your Number” at #3 — these are still accomplishments to be proud of.

Congratulations to all the artists who had new songs debut this week!
