Korean Remake Of Popular Netflix Series “Money Heist” Confirms Main Cast

The Korean drama remake of popular Netflix series Money Heist has confirmed its main cast, led by Yoo Ji Tae, Kim Yoon Jin, and Park Hae Soo.

Netflix Korea has confirmed the actors who will be portraying Money Heist‘s main roles, with a few name changes for the Korean K-Drama version. The first four actors revealed were Yoo Ji Tae of Oldboy, Healer, and Money fame, Kim Yoon Jin from Lost and Mistresses, Park Hae Soo from Time to Hunt and Prison Playbook, and Jeon Jong Seo from Burning.

Actor Yoo Ji Tae will play the role of Sergio Marquina, also known as The Professor. Korean-American Actress Kim Yoon Jin will play the role of Sun Woo Jin, or the K-Drama’s version of Lisbon. Actor Park Hae Soo will play the role of Berlin, and actress Jeon Jong Seo will play the role of Tokyo.

Actor Lee Won Jong will play the role of Moscow. Parasite actor Park Myung Hoon will play the K-Drama role of Arturo Román, with the name changed to Cho Young Min. Actor Kim Sung Oh will play the role of Cha Moon Hyuk, a special forces agent who ends up as a hostage. Actor Kim Ji Hoon will play the role of Denver.

Model Jang Yoon Ju will play the role of Nairobi while Lee Joo Bin will play the role of Yoon Min Sun, the K-Drama’s version of Stockholm. Actor Park Jung Woo will play the role of Rio, actor Kim Ji Hoon will play the role of Helsinki, and actor Lee Kyu Ho will play the role of Oslo.

Money Heist is a Spanish drama that has been airing since 2017. It tells the story of a man who recruits 8 people to help him carry out a heist of the Royal Mint of Spain. Since its addition to Netflix, it has become one of Netflix’s most-watched dramas, often finding itself in the Top 10 list even in South Korea. No planned broadcast date has been announced yet.
