Korean protesters dance to Girls’ Generation’s “Into The New World”

South Korean protesters seemed to be more than overjoyed with the removal of their president, and they certainly showed that when they danced to this song.

After Park Geun-hye was forcibly removed on the 9th of March, protesters on the street celebrated the historic day by dancing to Girls’ Generation‘s “Into The New World”.

Videos posted on Twitter captured several groups of people cheerfully dancing to the group’s song, with laughter and smiles all around.

That’s certainly something for the members of Girls’ Generation to feel proud of!

The song even started to trend on Melon after news of the impeachment broke, along with Girl’s Day‘s “Female President”, Coldplay‘s “Viva La Vida”, Red Velvet’s “Russian Roulette” and Heize‘s “Don’t Come Back”.

Judging by the song choices, it seems that everyone really was in the mood for a celebration after the news!
