[★BREAKING] KCON will hold show in Australia for 2017

KCON will be heading to Australia in 2017 for the first time ever since the mega-festival was launched in 2012.

For the first time ever, KCON will be expanding into Australia in September, though no exact date or venue has been set. KCON is launching 2017 off by heading to Mexico City on March 17 for two days before heading to New York and California in June and August.

KCON was founded in 2012 by Koreaboo in partnership with CJ E&M. It was the brainchild of Koreaboo’s co-founders, after two massively successful fan meetups held under the name, “SMTOWN Meetup”.

Since its launch, KCON has grown to see over 350,000 attendees worldwide in the United States, Japan, Saudi Arabia, France, and South Korea. Mexico City and Australia will make KCON a 7-country festival, arguably one of the largest events held annually in the world.
