Jun Ji Hyun recently made headlines for being named the highest paid celebrity in the nation, beating out Yoo Jae Suk, Kim Soo Hyun, and Song Joong Ki. According to the reports, the veteran actress’s appearance fee ranges from ₩17.0 billion KRW (about $14.6 million USD) and up.
In light of her salary news comes another headline regarding Jun Ji Hyun’s wealth but this time, it involves her oldest son.
Jun Ji Hyun’s eldest son, aged 5, recently began to make headlines for his acceptance into the Chadwick International School that is located in Songdo, Incheon. He will begin his kindergarten course at the Village School, which is the kindergarten program at the private school.
The Chadwick International School is a sister school of the Chadwick School, which is a private American school that is headquartered in Los Angeles, California. The school is well-known for its elite status, as only the children of the top 1% families have had the pleasure of attending. Some of the most notable alumni include Brandon and Shannon Lee, who are the children of the famous martial artist and actor Bruce Lee, singer Liza Minnelli, Maureen Reagan the daughter of the former U.S. President Ronald Reagan, and more.
As Jun Ji Hyun’s son prepares to attend kindergarten at the private school, the shocking tuition has also started to circulate online. Jun Ji Hyun will reportedly be paying a whopping ₩36.0 million KRW (about $30,900 USD) for her son’s upcoming kindergarten year at the international school.
The Chadwick International School offers programs all the way through the 12th grade, where the tuition gets increasingly more expensive.
While the cost truly is hard to wrap our minds around, we wish Jun Ji Hyun’s son the best of luck as he begins his school endeavors.
