In addition to being a successful singer in Korea, Jessica has also proven herself to be a world-class celebrity as well.
In addition to her fame in China and attending fashion shows all over the world, the former Girls’ Generation member has also caught the attention of the Golden State Warriors, one of the top basketball teams in the American NBA league. According to a tweet from her agency Coridel Entertainment, Jessica was invited to game 5 of the NBA finals by the Golden State Warriors and Tencent, a Chinese investment company with ties to the NBA.
Jessica’s agency also added that her song “Fly” will also be playing at the event, likely because the song references Warriors point guard and NBA MVP Stephen Curry and the team’s record-breaking win record. With the Warriors leading their opponents the Cleveland Cavaliers 3 to 1 in the series, game 5 could very well be the last game of the finals. Jessica will be sitting court-side watching the Warriors play at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California at Monday, June 13th at 6PM local time (Tuesday, 10AM KST).
