Market analysts predict that JYP Entertainment will see incredible growth in 2020 thanks to their rookie groups, ITZY and Stray Kids.
EBEST Investment & Securities Co., a securities brokerage company, released their predicted forecast of JYP Entertainment’s stocks for the upcoming year. They claimed that JYP’s profits from tours and album sales will all increase compared to 2019 thanks to their rookie groups.
JYP’s tour ticket sales and album sales (from Korea and Japan) are predicted to increase by 1.22 million and 11.3 billion won (~$9.5 million USD) respectively next year.

They pointed out that ITZY and Stray Kids will play a major key in JYP’s performance for 2020 as they will account for the majority of sales in both concert tours and albums.
ITZY and Stray Kids will see growth next year by accounting for 79% of all [JYP] consumers and will be the driving force of the 63% of album sales in 2020.
As a result, JYP is expected to reach 174.5 billion won (~$147 million USD) in performance sales and 47.9 billion won (~$40 million USD) in operating profit next year. Both will see an increase compared to this year.

JYP Entertainment is also expected to see organic growth “by debuting their global project rookie group in the latter half of the year.” Reports claim JYP is preparing to kick off the new year with ITZY and TWICE’s comeback, followed by their other artists.
JYP Entertainment has reportedly continued to see 13~15% increase in market share within the past 3 years, and they recently rose up in 5~7% points.
