I.O.I Will Reportedly Reunite For 6 Months And Release A New Album

I.O.I is back?!?

In stunning news for I.O.I fans, it was reported that the project group would be reuniting for a 6-month promotional series starting later in 2019, and include a brand new album.

In an exclusive report from Ilgan Sports, they have stated that the group will be reuniting for 6 months in the second half of this year, starting with their appearance at KCON Los Angeles in August.

Following their appearance at KCON Los Angeles, the group would release a new album in September, and they would also be holding a concert at the end of the year.

Unfortunately, center Jeon Somi would be unable to join the promotions due to her solo debut under THE BLACK LABEL.

In response to the report, Chungha‘s agency MNH Entertainment has confirmed there are discussions about a reunion, but nothing has been confirmed so far.

It is true there have been discussions about I.O.I reuniting but there has been nothing confirmed yet.

It has been said that any reunion would be very difficult due to the agencies of all 11 members needing to agree to one, but due to the strong bond between the members, the plans for a reunion were able to go through.
