Hayeon’s AI-Produced Single “idkwtd” Will Be Sold As NFT Content

This digital age is continuing to expand, even in music!

NFT has been a worldwide craze in recent years. For those who don’t know, NFT stands for Non-Fungible Token… which doesn’t really make anything any clearer.

“Non-fungible” essentially means that the item is unique and cannot be replaced. Let’s say you have a one-of-a-kind rare photocard of ATEEZ‘s San; if you traded that card for a more common photocard of TXT‘s Hueningkai, you would not only be getting something completely different but would not be able to get another rare San photocard. If you traded someone a quarter for another quarter, that is “fungible.”

The problem is, NFTs are even more complicated and technical than that, and if we’re honest, it’s hard to wrap our heads around it. Regardless, NFTs have been exploding in the art community as fans fight to own a percentage of Nyan Cat, a Jack Dorsey tweet, videos, artworks, and more.

As this has been a huge trend, record label Enterarts announced that they are releasing the first AI-produced song and video as NFT content. The song produced by the virtual AI producer Aimy Moon is “idkwtd” by Hayeon. The company also announced that they would be releasing the album through the NFT marketplace, Mintable.

AI video editing technology was created two versions of the music video, the original and ambient versions. Enterarts’ partner Neutune applied technology in which AI produces and edits video according to the sound source.
