Gummy plans comeback with new album and concert this April

C-JeS Entertainment has confirmed the return of female singer Gummy, who is preparing to release a new album and follow up with a concert this April.

On March 16th, the agency revealed she will be making a comeback this spring and will release a remake album. The singer’s comeback has garnered much attention since the release of her mini-album I Loved…Have No Regrets last year dominated various online music charts.

In addition, the solo concert that Gummy held last summer and autumn at small theaters showed her powerful vocals, and gained huge, positive responses from fans for a bigger concert. In response to those fan requests, Gummy will be holding a solo concert as a present to her fans who have waited for so long in May.

The artist has expressed ,“I have wanted to make a full album for a long time and now I am finally able to announce it. Although there was pressure to re-interpret very good songs with my voice, I worked hard to show a new charm through combining my voice and new arranges. Please wait for it.”

Her upcoming album will be the first studio album she has released since 2008, releasing the album Comfort under YG Entertainment. Gummy will hold her fan meeting and solo concert on May 1st and 2nd at the Samsung Hall in Ewha Woman’s University.
