Girls’ Generation to make their first appearance on “Running Man” in four years

With their Korean comeback nearing, Girls’ Generation has been reported to be making their first appearance on SBS variety show Running Man in four years!

It has been confirmed that not only will the popular girl group be releasing their fifth studio album in July, but they are gearing up for their promotions via entertainment programs as they countdown until their comeback.

On June 23rd, Girls’ Generation will be filming an episode with the cast of Running Man, making it the first time since four years ago in 2011.

Additionally, they are in talks of starring in their own reality program to show fans a more natural look into the members’ lives, similar as to how TaeTiSeo starred in their own OnStyle show last year during their promotions with “Holler” last September.

Some members of Girls’ Generation have already been confirmed to be active in their own entertainment program with Yuri set to record for KBS 2TV‘s Our Neighborhood Arts and Physical Education on June 17th where she will show off her skills as a swimmer. Tiffany is currently the host of her own Mnet fashion and beauty program Heart A Tag, and Hyoyeon hosts Hyoyeon 1 Million Likes.

Girls’ Generation recently returned from Thailand where they filmed their music video on June 14th.

While no exact date for when their Running Man episode will air, it is suspected it may air soon after their album drops in early July.
