“Hello, this is Sojin. I’m writing to my fans because the news of me signing with a new agency might have surprised and worried many of you.

It’s already been 9 years since I met my fellow members of Girl’s Day back in 2010. First of all, I’d like to thank our fans for always cheering us on even when we were lacking.

Since day one, my fellow members and I shared many stories with each other and cherished each other dearly. I even consulted them when I was thinking about signing with another agency. I’m thankful to my members who always support me to make the best choices possible.

This isn’t easy to say. I want to apologize to our fans for taking time off from Girl’s Day. But I don’t think this is the end of our group. We simply placed a comma, so please wait for us to reunite no matter how long it takes us.

I hope we all do our best in whatever we’re doing so we can return to you with great news. We wouldn’t have come this far without you, and now that we have the opportunity and courage to make a new attempt, we’ll return to you even better than before.

I wish to start a new chapter as an actress named Park So Jin. I love you, thank you, and I’m sorry. That’s it for Sojin. I hope you continue to support me. Thank you.”
