FNC Entertainment goes public with IPO

FNC Entertainment is reported to be ready to go public, joining the ranks of SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment, and JYP Entertainment, which have all been listed on the KOSDAQ for a number of years.

It has been reported that FNC Entertainment recently passed all of the tests needed to enter the KOSDAQ to become a publicly traded company. Originally branded as FNC Music, the company re-branded as FNC Entertainment as it began diversifying and expanding its business in 2012.

Since founding its company, FNC Entertainment managed to promote FT Island and CNBLUE, who consistently showed solid music sales, making them two of the top bands in South Korea. In addition, the company signed on vocal powerhouse Juniel, girl group AOA, and third male group N.Flying. It also manages actors and actresses, including Lee Da Hae, Yoon Jin Seo, and Kim Min Seo.

With the agency passing the assessments, the company will be officially listed on the KOSDAQ once the necessary listing procedures have been completed.
