EXO’s Sehun apologises for “good weather” post despite the typhoon

EXO’s Sehun has issued a clarification towards his recent SNS posts that seems to have started a debate online. 

On October 5th, Sehun initially posted a scenic photo on his personal Instagram acocunt with the caption, “Good weather,” along with a number of emoticons. However, the simple update immediately received negative reactions from the netizens after they pointed out the damage of the recent typhoon to areas such as Busan, Ulsan and Jeju.

As the negative comments poured on his personal page, Sehun eventually had to delete the post.

An apology from the singer was soon posted in solidarity to the damage and victims of the typhoon. He explained that he only posted the photos because of the good weather and only saw the typhoon i the Southern provinces through the articles linked. He closed the statement with the caption, “I hope there won’t be any serious damage.” 

Meanwhile, Sehun is will be soon joining EXO at the Asia Music Festival in Busan.
