BTS To Speak And Perform At YouTube’s Virtual Graduation Ceremony

We love influential kings.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic that has been affecting all parts of the world, people are practicing social distancing while trying to find different ways to stay connected. YouTube will be holding a “Dear Class of 2020” original special as a video graduation ceremony that will be held on June 6 on the YouTube Originals channel.

Former President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama will be headlining the ceremony with individual commencement speeches as well as a joint speech to the graduates.

K-Pop group BTS will also be featured at the event and will deliver a speech as well as hold performances for the virtual after-party. Other notable figures that will attend the event include Lady Gaga, former secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, activist Malala Yousafzai and more.

Special appearances will also be made by Kerry Washington, Kelly Rowland, Alicia Keys, as well as several well-known YouTubers.

The purpose of this event is to bring inspiration and hope to those that are graduating this year despite all the things that are going on in the world. They hope that the speakers and performances will give encouragement to those that have made it to graduation.

Join the event on June 6 on the YouTube Originals channel as well as YouTube’s Learn@Home site.
