BTS’s Jungkook Performed Shirtless During “PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE,” And, No, We’re Not Okay

He’s making a statement with this bold fashion choice!

BTS and ARMY have finally reunited with the first night of their PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE concerts at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California. It’s officially kicked off with a bang too!

BTS’s PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE online concerts did prepare us well for what was to come, including some of the iconic fits that the members wear throughout. Still, there are some things that no one can prepare for.

Jungkook was looking fine from the beginning (as always). A fan-favorite is, of course, the Rick Owens‘ “Membrane Tank Top.” It shows quite a bit of skin, yet there’s one more outfit that’s somehow even sexier.

The outfit to steal the show was the all-black suit with a cropped jacket and a very deep V-neck along with a body chain. One reason was that he opted to go without a shirt underneath. He previously wore this same stunning outfit for the online concerts. Each time, he always kills in it!

The combination of accessories, body chain with his piercings… It’s truly unmatched!

Now, while the outfit was already quite daring, it ended up being even more so during performances. Not even the jacket could handle Jungkook’s strength and vigorous dance moves.

We have become accustomed to his iconic ab reveal during the “Fake Love” choreography, but with no shirt to lift… Well, this is something different entirely.

Not only did Jungkook lift his cropped jacket during the performance, but some buttons also appeared to have popped. No surprise since BTS have all been working out quite a lot these days.

The poor buttons were overworked! The one that remains was literally holding on for dear life.

There’s definitely something in that LA air over there…

…because Jungkook wasn’t even the only one shirtless this night. Jimin was too!

After the bold fashion statement made by Jungkook, he caused quite a commotion among not just ARMY present at the concert but those experiencing it vicariously through others’ posts. So, naturally, he ended up trending on Twitter along with other BTS-related hashtags. One of the most common phrases used by ARMYs during their reactions is:Β “JUNGKOOK WTF.”Β As of the time of writing, it’s already been used over 10,000 times!

Additionally, Jungkook is hitting No. 1 on Twitter’s trending section with over 1 million tweets.

We can definitely understand why, though.

To think this is just the start of BTS’s LA concerts… Certainly, if it’s taught us anything, it’s to expect the unexpected!
