ARMY worldwide couldn’t contain their excitement when it was announced that BTS’s J-Hope would be headlining the final night of Lollapalooza. If it wasn’t enough to be performing there, like fellow HYBE artists TXT, J-Hope is making history as the first South Korean artist to headline the main stage at a major American music festival.
As expected, the internet couldn’t contain their excitement when the announcement was made with ARMYs sharing their love for J-Hope.

After the announcement, J-Hope also shared his feelings about the event. In an Instagram post, the idol posted pictures of the entire Lollapalooza card and the video promotion that was used for him.
In the caption, J-Hope shared a heartfelt message revealing how he feels about headlining such a huge event. As expected, J-Hope explained how much it means to him and that he’s ready to take on a new challenge. Of course, the idol always emphasizes his desire to put on a good show for ARMYs and it was no different for this event.
Although ARMYs are BTS’s biggest supporters, nobody is a bigger fan of the group than the members themselves. After J-Hope shared his own reaction, one member was quick to share his own reaction to the news, and it was none other than youngest member Jungkook.
As part of 3J (along with Jimin), Jungkook and J-Hope have always had an underrated friendship.
Well, of course, Jungkook would ensure that he shares his love for J-Hope and the huge announcement. In the comments, Jungkook wrote, “Jya-hope let’s goooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!” and the number of exclamation marks proves that he’s just as excited to see his hyung perform on such a huge stage.
When ARMYs saw the comment, they couldn’t get over the bond between the members. Many even joked that if there was someone at the event cheering loudly for J-Hope, it was probably going to be Jungkook.
Hopefully, the members of BTS have a chance to watch J-Hope live, and if they do, they will undoubtedly be the idol’s biggest supporters (even more than ARMY). It once again shows just how supportive the members of BTS are for each other in everything they do, cementing themselves as true family.
