Get ready for 2022, ARMYs! BTS‘s J-Hope might be dropping some brand new music.
In 2022 Season’s Greetings, J-Hope chose three key phrases to sum up his plans for the new year and his first bullet point on the list especially caught ARMY’s attention!

He also shared that he wants to “gift ARMYs with good music he worked on himself.” Recently, he’s been hinting at his highly-anticipated next mixtape, unofficially codenamed by fans as Hope World 2.
Throughout the COVID-19 quarantine in 2020, he was able to create more songs than ever before. While songs like “Dis-ease” became part of BTS’s music, many are available for his own personal music projects.
He’s ready to branch out and challenge himself, creating more “intense” and “mature” music.
Until now, I wrote many happy and bright songs, but this time I wanted to write some intense songs. So, I’m working on that direction now.
Earlier in the year, J-Hope told Rolling Stone he was in the process of getting inspired.
Right now, the goal is to get inspired and make good music. Nothing is decided yet, so I’m just going to keep working on music. I think my style of music will not greatly change, but I think it will be more mature.
What hasn’t changed is his approach to music by conveying his raw emotions through authentic stories.
I want to start with that frame [of incorporating the feelings, emotions, and messages that I want to portray] and add substance to it and create one perfect and sound ‘person.’
As a follow-up of his well-received first mixtape Hope World, he feels a burden to live up to his previous work…
…but for ARMYs, J-Hope can do no wrong! We can’t wait to see what’s in store for his new music.
