BTS Reveals Their Individual Flaws In Latest “Run BTS!”

RM’s confession was shocking!

In episode 141 of Run BTS!, the collaboration special with tvN‘s The Game Caterers continued.

One of the first activities had BTS confess some of their shortcomings. Though we may think of the members as perfect, they revealed some of their personal flaws. After each member confessed, the other members would then say whether or not they agree and forgive them.

Producer Na Young Suk said that he heard that Jungkook was the flawless member. Nevertheless, Jungkook still recognized his own flaw and admitted that he lacks patience. He said, “I want to do many things, but I lack patience.” The members agreed but pointed out that he is good at everything he does do.

The introverted member of the group, Suga, confessed that, even while performing, he gets tired. This came as no surprise to the members. He has previously said that he hopes to become a rock in his next life after all. While filming the episode of Run BTS!, he revealed that his battery was running out then.

When I’m tired on stage, I tend to control my energy… My concentration level has decreased now. Anyway, I’m physically weak.

Jin had a surprising confession as he claimed he doesn’t think much. Though he has a reputation for being lighthearted, many consider him thoughtful.

I am simple; I don’t think deeply. I tend to deal with things easily.

Na Young Suk countered the confession by suggesting it’s not truly a flaw but rather a strength because it can lessen one’s stress not to take things too seriously. The members agreed, and Jimin said that it’s actually a quality they admire about Jin.

Jimin then admitted that he makes blunt remarks often. However, V noticed that he has been doing it less frequently.

He never makes those remarks now. Jimin is strict to himself, which made us sad. He gets stressed, then he makes blunt remarks.

— V

V concluded his statement by saying that Jimin is actually very kind. The members forgave Jimin but acknowledged his efforts in self-improvement.

Perhaps the most shocking confession came from RM. As the leader of BTS and famous for his high IQ, we consider him as one of the most mature persons, but he said otherwise. He claimed, “I’m not matured enough.”

I can’t drive. I don’t have a driver’s license. And I can’t cook well. Even if I try, I screw it up. I can’t eat seafood. I think I lack the vitality that you need in life. I personally think that I’m immature.

RM said he hopes to “become a man someday.” Jimin assured him that he would.

V’s flaw was like Suga’s in that he feels that he is lazier than most members. He struggles to accomplish tasks.

When I make a decision, it takes maximum 2 months for me to take action. I give up exercise. I give up while making a song. If I don’t feel like doing it, I don’t do it. So, I often feel sorry for the members.

Some of Jimin’s bluntness returned as he summarized V’s confession and said, “To put simply, he lacks responsibility.” He continued, “We don’t think that way, but if he thinks that way, we forgive you.”

The final member to confess their shortcomings was J-Hope, who the members labeled as flawless. They teased, “Being flawless is his flaws.” His roommate, Jimin, suggested, “He’s too strict to himself. He is always the first one to arrive.”

RM agreed and revealed some of the group’s nicknames for J-Hope, such as “God J-Hope” and “light J-Hope.” J-Hope reminded the members that he himself needed to confess.

I am bright, and I always smile when I’m outside, but I look very different at home. Maybe it’s because I laugh too much when I’m outside. At home, my face looks dull. That’s my flaw. I think the shadow behind me is growing.

— J-Hope

No one can be happy and energetic all of the time. The members refused to acknowledge J-Hope’s confession as a flaw. As a result, J-Hope added that he causes his parents to worry because of his seriousness at home. However, everyone only admired J-Hope even more as he revealed himself as a good son with concern for his family.

After their confessions, the members played a short game in which they had to turn it into a slogan which then would be repeated when called on. This activity is meant to help individuals overcome their shortcomings.
