BLACKPINK Reach Another Milestone On YouTube, But This Time It’s Not For An MV

Congratulations, BLACKPINK!

BLACKPINK recently became the first K-Pop girl group to ever reach 1.1 billion views on a music video on YouTube with “DDU-DU DDU-DU”, and now they have even more to celebrate!

The YG Entertainment group has been known to beat records on the video sharing platform, with their view counts and speed at which they get them nearly unmatched in the industry.

Now, however, they’ve reached another milestone – by becoming the 8th most subscribed music channel, the 4th most subscribed female music artist, and the #1 most subscribed musical group on YouTube! With 34 million subscribers, BLACKPINK is only surpassed by 8 worldwide popular solo artists: Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Eminem, Ed Sheeran, Marshmello, and Justin Bieber.

BLACKPINK has also become the only female artist in the world to have two music videos (“DDU-DU DDU-DU” and “Kill This Love”) reach over 12 million likes per video.

Congratulations, BLACKPINK!
