As of June 21, Square Up has become BLACKPINK‘s first album to surpass the 50,000 mark for physical album sales.
According to the Hanteo Chart, Square Up has accumulated over 56,000 in cumulative sales in just under a week.
This makes BLACKPINK the second highest ranking girl group on Hanteo’s 2018 list for highest first week of sales.

BLACKPINK has approximately 25,000 more sales (so far) than third place holder, Red Velvet. According to Hanteo, The Perfect Red Velvet sold 31,768 units in its first week.
GFriend ranks 4th with Time for the Moon Night (31,540 sales)…
…and MAMAMOO is in 5th with Yellow Flower (28,240 sales).
