BIGBANG’s newest Japanese album release tops Oricon Charts

BIGBANG continues to prove their popularity in Japan as their latest album topped the Oricon Weekly Album Chart.

On February 9th, Japan’s largest music site Oricon revealed the rankings for this week’s album chart with BIGBANG leading the way with 128,000 units of their MADE Series album sold in the week since its release.

This is the third time since BIGBANG has sold a record amount in a week, and the first since a year and two months.

The first time occurred in June 2012 with their album ALIVE – MONSTER EDITION and the second time in December 2014 with THE BEST OF BIGBANG 2006-2014.

Meanwhile, BIGBANG is set to perform in Japan as part of their MADE world tour on February 23rd and 24th at the Tokyo Dome.
