11 Creative Idol Signatures That Have A Very Special Meaning

These autographs hold a lot of meaning:

Every idol has their own unique way to sign autographs for fans. While all of them are incredibly special to the fans who receive them, some idols have also incorporated some very special and sweet meanings into their signatures. Without further ado, here are a few autographs with hidden and not so hidden special meanings.

1. Seulgi (Red Velvet)

Seulgi has earned the nickname “Teddy Bear Seulgi” thanks to her awkward, charming, and downright adorable personality and she’s figured out a way to incorporate that into her signature! Bonus, she’s been known to customize the cute bear autograph when asked!

2. Momo (TWICE)

Although Momo‘s autograph is already cute on its own, it’s actually even cooler when you realize that it has the Korean and Japanese for “mo” (모 and も) and an “M” in the characters eyebrow!

3. Kang Daniel

Kang Daniel‘s signature doesn’t just look cool its meaning is also pretty cool too! His signature spells out “DALK” which comes from “DAnieL Kang.” To top it off he added his favorite thing, a skateboard.

4. Taeyeon (Girls’ Generation)

Taeyeon‘s pretty butterfly not only connects to the recurring theme in her music, videos, and concerts but it’s also a take on her nickname Taengoo (탱구).

5. Eunha (GFRIEND)

Eunha‘s galaxy themed writing actually is a nod at her stage name since “은하” means “galaxy.”

6. Ga Won (LOONA)

There is one particular signature of Ga Won‘s that Orbits love to pieces and that’s her signatures from the group’s very first fan meeting. Why? Because Ga Won was so nervous to meet her fans that her signature looked like it was melting!

7. Jungwoo (NCT)

Keeping with his nickname, Jungwoo normally signs “Zeus” for fans! There’s just no mistaking whose autograph that is!

8. Ong Seongwoo

Ong Seongwoo combines simple with a whole lot of heart! Although he signs a simple “Ong” the “O” includes three small dots that represent his signature beauty marks!

9. Seungkwan (SEVENTEEN)

It wouldn’t be Seungkwan without “Boo” right? So it shouldn’t be surprising that Seungkwan adds his famous nickname to his autograph! Then the second “O” in “Boo” transforms into his name, 승관.

10. Eunji (Apink)

Eunji dedicated her signature to fans by including a cute and incredibly detailed panda!

11. Jeong Sewoon

Jeong Sewoon‘s signature is literally just his name written out in Hangul, but there’s a very sweet reason why. When he was an idol trainee, he used to get requests for autographs but because he hadn’t developed one yet he simply wrote his name. When his fan asked what would happen if he changed it, he decided that was never going to happen and has stuck with his original signature ever since. It just goes to show that sometimes the simplest autographs pack a whole lot of meaning.
