Daegu’s Keimyung University Is So Beautiful Over 100 Films Have Been Filmed There

Keimyung University’s Daemyeong Campus in Daegu is such a beautiful campus that it’s a popular filming location in South Korea.

 

In fact, it’s reported that over 100 movies and dramas have been filmed there.

 

Check out some of the famous movies and dramas that were filmed here!

1. Love Rain

The school was the backdrop to Jang Geun Suk and Yoona‘s adorable love story.

 

2. Ditto

This 2000 movie starring Kim Ha Neul, Park Yong Woo, Kim Min Joo, Yoo Ji Tae, and Ha Ji Won also had several scenes shot at Keimyung University.

 

3. Boys Over Flowers

Who knew that the iconic Shinhwa High School was really situated in Daegu, South Korea?

 

4. Hourglass

This iconic drama from 1995 launched the careers of legends Choi Min Soo, Go Hyun Jung, and Park Sang Won into stardom – and it all started here.

 

5. The Priests

Kang Dong Won, Kim Yun Seok, and Park So Dam made a trip to Daegu to film this horror film back in 2015.

 

6. East of Eden

The 2008 ₩25 billion drama had a star-studded lineup including Song Seung Heon, Lee Da Hae, and Lee Yeon Hee. The producers chose an equally gorgeous location as well!
