Big Bang’s Taeyang releases teaser video for 2015 world tour

On November 27th, Big Bang‘s Taeyang released a short teaser video for the the 2015 portion of the TAEYANG WORLD TOUR [RISE].

After successfully completing his stops in Japan and Korea in 2014, the lead vocalist of Big Bang revealed that he would be expanding his tour into 2015, turning it into a world tour. The short 43-second video, which was released through Big Bang’s official YouTube channel, featured clips from the 2014 concerts and showed off the overwhelming support from fans. The video was brief but intense, and ended with the singer walking toward the camera while his fans chanted his name, Dong Youngbae.

Although the video itself didn’t reveal much about the tour, Taeyang’s official Facebook page showed that the 2015 TAEYANG WORLD TOUR [RISE] would be making stops in Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Taiwan (with dates and times yet to be released). Although fans were elated at the news of a world tour, many international fans have expressed their desire for the Big Bang singer to expand his tour to countries outside of Asia as well.

In addition to his solo activities, Taeyang also recently released a collaboration track with fellow Big Bang member G-Dragon. So far, the track “Good Boy” has been really popular with fans worldwide, and even grabbed the attention of Billboard.
